California Friendly: Modern Weeding and Plant Care
by Douglas Kent, MS, MLA, ASLA
CEUs: APLD, NALP, PGMS, QWEL

Are you struggling with your California Friendly landscape? Are your perennials looking lackluster, shrubs prematurely dying, or landscapes overrun by weeds? Join author Douglas Kent and learn how to get the most from your landscape.
Doug will be highlighting the most successful strategies from his latest book, California Friendly: A Maintenance Guide for Landscapers, Gardeners and Land Managers. He will cover preventive and protective weeding tactics, fertilization and watering schedules, and a site’s influence on plant mortality.
California Friendly® is a free guide that was funded through collaboration between Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Metropolitan Water District, and the Southern California Gas Company. It can be downloaded from bewaterwise.com.

TLE seminars are "more advanced than typical conference seminars."
