Selection, Planting and Aftercare of Nursery Trees
by Fred Roth, Ph.D.
CEUs: APLD, ISA, PGMS

Selection of good, sound nursery stock that has competent roots and is vigorous is the essential starting point of successful tree establishment. We will talk about what to look for and how to test what you find in the nursery. The second phase is putting the tree in the ground – there’s more science here than you might imagine. And finally, proper management of the infant tree until it is established will take the fragile, vulnerable tree to the point that it can mature with little additional care.

TLE seminars are "more advanced than typical conference seminars."
