The Continuing Education Center for Pest Management was established to track continuing education hours of licensed and certified pest management professionals in California.

LandscapeOnline.com was recently notified by Suzanne Evans that she is retiring as the coordinator of data processing for the Continuing Education Center for Pest Management.

After working in banking for 30 years, Evans assumed her position with the center in Aug. 2009, where she managed files, records, classes, working with sponsors and bookkeeping.

"I love the work and so enjoyed the wonderful people I worked with in this position," Evans said.

Lien Banh has been named as the new coordinator, and the board of directors approved her. Evans praises Banh's work, and feels the association is in good hands with her.

Evans said her retirement "just felt right," and she wants to devote time to travelling.

"My time here has been satisfying and I've learned so much. I thank everyone that has made me want to come to work every day. I loved my job," Evans said.
