Ewan Parker

Ewan has a passion for irrigation control and developing innovative control products for the landscape, agriculture and golf industries. With an academic background in landscape architecture and plant science, he came to the US from the UK in 2000 and has been actively involved in many facets of the irrigation control industry ever since.
His experience in large scale community design and construction throughout California and new product and market development projects in the manufacturing space has given him a diverse background with several specialisms built around irrigation control. One aspect of irrigation control that Ewan is particularly passionate about is the proactive use of soil moisture and ET data for irrigation control. Experience in the agriculture and golf industries using soil moisture data via multi sensor stacked probes fuels his interest in driving greater acceptance of soil moisture-driven control and data collection in the landscape irrigation space.
