2009 Awards of Excellence, Canadian Style






La Promenade Samuel-De Champlain was one of four National Honor Awards winners named by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. The park project is along the banks of the St. Lawrence River (St. Laurent in these parts) and was undertaken as part of the celebration of Quebec City's 400th anniversary.

The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) announced the results of its 2009 CSLA Professional Awards.

The annual CSLA awards program, hosted by the University of Manitoba Department of Landscape Architecture, recognizes excellence in landscape architecture in the categories of design, planning & analysis, research, communications, landscape management, new directions, and residential design.

From this year's 56 entries, there were 13 national awards.
