TLE Announces Two GCSAA Certified Seminars

LONG BEACH, CALIF. - For the first time ever, the 2011 Landscape Expo is please to announce that two of its seminars have been accredited by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).

Presented by industry expert Eric Gerhart, Director of Liquid Fence, you can earn .15 GSCAA Credits on Wednesday for the seminar: Understanding and Using Minimal Risk Chemicals (9:30 - 11:00) and on Thursday for: Natural Animal Control for Turf and Ornamentals (11:00 - 12:30).

The 2011 Landscape Expo, the most attend industry trade show and conference for all landscape professionals, will be held October 12th - 13th, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif. This will be the third consecutive year the expo has been held at this venue, since moving from Pomona, California in 2009.

Last year's event, drew more than 5,000 landscape professionals including; landscape architects, contractors and designers, city, school and facility landscape superintendents and their qualified staff members, residential/commercial lawn care pros, as well as arborists, and pest control specialists. This year, the attendance is expected to be over 5,000. At last years 2010 Expo, 236 vendors exhibited, showcasing a wide variety of products and services for the landscape industry.

More than 65 CEU qualified seminars and workshops in key tracks will be offered. Additional programs include a Sustainable Landscape Workshop series, presented by the University of California Cooperative Extension and hands-on "How To" workshops on tree trimming, drip irrigation, valves, backflow repair, wire tracking and water management, presented by Irrigator Tech.
