Jodie Petersen manages high-profile design projects of national and international prominence, such as the Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania, and the first national park in Qatar. She has advanced the perception and visibility of the profession in general, but particularly public-sector landscape architects. In her wide range of duties she directs interdisciplinary teams and mentors Park Service landscape architects. She authored sustainability requirements--now included in all scopes of NPS work--that focus on integrated design services for planning, design and construction.
