A Moment of Silence for Jane Delker, ASLA

Jane Martin Delker, ASLA, a loving wife to Bill and mother to Jessica and Martin, passed away February 7, 2004. Funeral services were held February 10 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Kentucky.

A 1994 graduate of the University of Kentucky landscape architecture program, she was a registered landscape architect in Kentucky, served on the Kentucky Landscape Architectural Registration Board, and was active in the ASLA. She was an associate with John L. Carman and Associates, Inc., dedicated to her work and involved unselfishly in many professional activities through the years. [Editor's note: Jane was just working with a regional editor of LASN to present her master planning for Big Bone Lick State Park in Union, Kentucky.]

The Jane Martin Delker Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by her family in her memory for a nontraditional student in landscape architecture at the University of Kentucky. To honor her memory, you can make a tax deductible gift payable to the university at this address:
