Clark Condon Welcomes Brendan Cloney to the Team

Brendan Cloney, Assoc. ASLA

Brendan Cloney was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. He recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture. He draws inspiration from many different forms of design, as well as from observing the way users interact with the spaces around them. Brendan enjoys creating spaces that influence the greater community
through creativity and innovation.

Hurst Appointed to Board Of Directors

Gregory Hurst, PE

Gregory Hurst, PE, was appointed to Robert Peccia and Associates' (RPA) Board of Directors. He is the Fort Collins, Colo., branch office manager and a senior civil engineer. With over 40 years of experience, Mr. Hurst previously worked for engineering and landscape architect firms in Fort Collins. His specialty is sustainable technologies. Mr. Hurst is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

RPA is a 100-percent employee-owned Employee Stock Ownership Plan firm that offers professional landscape architecture, civil engineering, planning, and land surveying services throughout the United States. The firm employs nearly 60 professionals, and has offices in Helena, Kalispell and Bozeman,
Mont., and Fort Collins, Colo.

Dylan Larson Appointed to Miller Legg's
Board Of Directors

Dylan Larson, PWS, CEP, CLI, GTA

Miller Legg, a 51-year-old multidisciplinary consulting firm in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., announced that Dylan Larson, PWS, CEP, CLI, GTA, has been appointed to the Miller Legg Board of Directors. Larson has been with Miller Legg since 1994, and heads up the firm's environmental department statewide.

Larson is a member of the Broward County Climate Change Task Force and the Broward County Water Resources Task Force. He is a regular speaker/panelist at annual environmental conferences in Florida. He earned a MBA Administration from Nova Southeastern University in 1998, and BS degrees in biology and business administration from the University of Wisconsin in 1994.

Miller Legg's project work is in the transportation, municipal and county government, health care, education, federal and international sectors.

EPTDESIGN Orange County Studio Moves to the Beach
Board Of Directors

The new the EPTDESIGN Studio in Laguna Beach, Calif.

After spending 10 years in Irvine, Calif., the EPTDESIGN Orange County studio has recently relocated to 401 Glenneyre Street in downtown Laguna Beach. The new studio is in a former bank branch (complete with vault), just steps from Main Beach, the historic Hotel Laguna, and has great parking, a real asset in this tightly compacted beach community. The studio features a large open-air patio overlooking the surf and comprises 6,000 sq. ft. of working space that has been completely remodeled. The firm says it is drawn to the history of the town, its creative roots and its art and design community.

Jim Tanner to Serve Dual Role of
President and COO for Profile Products

Profile Products LLC, a provider of soil, water and vegetation management, announced the promotion of Jim Tanner to serve the dual role of president and COO. Tanner has held the COO post since 2013, and has worked for the company for 18 years. John Schoch, the former president, remains Profile's CEO.

As COO, Tanner's responsibilities have included P&L management, strategic planning, new business development, and leadership of the company's sales and marketing, customer service and logistics teams. He has also played a pivotal role in operations management and strategic business acquisitions.

Tanner previously worked at Conwed Plastics, Kraft General Foods and Milliken & Company. He holds eight U.S patents and one Canadian patent, is a past Board member of the Sorptive Minerals Institute, is a member of the International Erosion Control Association and the Sports Turf Managers Association. He received a BS in Business from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business

"Jim's contributions to the success and growth of Profile are too numerous to list, and his leadership has provided us with both the tools and the pathway to achieve many of our successes," said Schoch.

Profile says it developed the first erosion control solution "capable of withstanding intense rain on slopes up to 90?." The company also provides soil conditioners and turf establishment products to sports fields and golf courses.
