Carolinas Irrigation Association


Eleven teams went out for a full day of golf at the Raintree Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, to raise money for the IA Foundation's E3 scholarships.


The CIA's annual golf tournament this year included a morning full of CEU opportunities for landscape and irrigation professionals.

On July 12, contractors, distributers, arboretum staff, and Alamance Community College instructors and students met at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, N.C., to install a plant irrigation system at the main pedestrian entrance. Mike Rodgers of Rodgers Landscaping Service organized the workday. Lee Barnwell, Brad Comer and Steve Hill provided teaching and instruction as the irrigation installation process began.


Members of the Carolina's Irrigation Association joined the Green Industry Council and other associations in the annual 2017 GIC Ice Cream Social at the North Carolina Legislature Building.


On Thursday, October 26th the Carolinas Irrigation Association hosted their annual Waterpalooza event at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, N.C. Over 70 attendees were there to earn both their irrigation and landscape CEU's and to meet with 23 different industry manufacturers and vendors. with a total of 133 in attendance. The annual meeting was held onsite where four board members renewed their two-year term. The Waterpalooza committee was led by Mike Rodgers of Rodgers Landscape.
