Case Construction Donates Cash and Equipment for Katrina Relief

Case Construction Equipment of Racine, Wis., is currently coordinating equipment and resources, in addition to sending cash donations to Mississippi and Louisiana, to support relief and rebuilding efforts to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

New equipment that was supposed to be delivered to Case plants in the region is being diverted to the areas hardest hit by the storm. The equipment includes rough-terrain forklifts and loader/backhoes.

"Our thoughts and condolences go out to all of those who have been affected by the disaster," said Robin Killian, vice president of sales and marketing for Case Construction Equipment, North America. "We are pleased to provide equipment that can help begin to repair communities and infrastructures."

Case will also be joining other CNH (manufacturer of the Case brand) brands in matching individual employee donations to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $250,000.

Case will continue to work with dealers in the region, the Business Roundtable through its Partnership for Disaster Relief, and with the National Association of Manufacturers to direct assistance to federal and state relief efforts supporting victims of Hurricane Katrina.
