"Ted" Horton, CGCS, Consulting Superintendent for Valley Crest Golf Course Maintenance; Executive Director of the California Golf Course Owners Association, President of the California Golf Alliance, owner of Ted Horton Consulting; Recipient of numerous professional awards, and recently listed in Golf Digest Magazine as one of the top 100 most powerful people in golf.

Green, Ph.D, Turfgrass Research Specialist, University of California, Riverside, Dept. of Botany and Plant Sciences; Board member of SCTC.; Ph.D. in Agronomy, University of Florida, 1982; M.S. in Horticultural Science, University of Florida, 1979; B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture, University of Florida, 1977; B.S. in Biology, Florida State University, 1974; Ornamental-Turf Extension Specialist, Oklahoma State University; Postdoctoral Fellow-Turfgrass Physiology, Texas A&M University.

Alrie Middlebrook, President and Founder of Middlebrook Gardens, lecturer, author, winner of numerous awards including recipient of 10 National Environmental Improvement Awards in the categories of design, installation, service, CLCA; Outstanding Achievement Award, "Landscaped Environments, Women in Design International, Paris, France.

Larry Rolfes, CAE, assistant executive director of the CLCA; a past president of the Construction Industry Legislative Council; current president of the California Green Industry Council. Rohlfes is primarily responsible for his employer's governmental affairs program. He coordinates the association's lobbying, grass roots network, and political action committee. As the staff liaison to the Resource Management Committee, Rohlfes implemented the association's new Water Management Certification Program.
