IECA Launches Mentorship Program

The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) has launched the Mentorship Program as a new membership benefit. This will allow established members, students or new members to connect with one another and form partnerships of mutual learning as mentors and mentees.

Russell Adsit, FASLA, IECA's Executive Director, said ''We are thrilled to provide a venue for IECA members of all skill levels to find one another as mentors and mentees. This new program facilitates opportunities for members to learn from one another and hopefully create bonds that will enhance each participant's work and understanding of the erosion and sediment control and stormwater industries. In only the first few days of the program, we've received an overwhelming response.''

The objective for the program is to provide a database of members, who have volunteered to serve as a mentor, to other members.

Members interested in finding a mentor can locate one either in their area or view a potential member's online record to find one who shares their areas of professional interest.
