Peter Lindsay Schaudt

Former rivals Douglas Hoerr and Peter Lindsay Schaudt announced that they have joined forces to form Hoerr Schaudt Landscape Architects, LLC, fortifying their role, as Midwest leaders and creating a firm that will compete for major, distinctive projects around the country. The combined firm with 40 full-time professionals will be the largest landscape architecture firm in Chicago and will continue to build Chicago's reputation as one of the greenest and most beautiful garden cities in the world. Both Fellows of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Hoerr and Schaudt between them have earned dozens of national honors and awards.

Rios Clementi Hale Studios is the recipient of the 2007 Firm of the Year Award by the American Institute of Architects California Council for sustained excellence in consistently distinguished architecture since the founding of the firm in 1986. Stephen Plunkard

Stantec landscape architect Stephen Plunkard has been awarded the 2007 Vermont Tree Steward Award for a practitioner by the Vermont Urban and Community Forestry Council. Plunkard was selected as the recipient of the practitioner's award, which goes to an individual who has successfully addressed urban and community forestry initiatives throughout Vermont through his or her professional work. He was honored at a Statehouse ceremony, which included Gov. Jim Douglas and Agency of Natural Resources Secretary George Crombie.

Artisan Lakes, 1,100-acre master-planned community in Manatee County, Florida, recently opened its newly completed community reception center designed by the firm of Ervin, Lovett & Miller. Ervin Lovett & Miller provided the architecture, landscape architecture and planning for the reception center as well as the community.

Kevin C. Leamy

Kevin C. Leamy has been promoted to Principal Landscape Architect at Land Architecture, Inc., a Roseville based landscape architecture firm. Mr. Leamy has been with the company for the past 4 years and most recently was senior project manager. Mr. Leamy has more than 12 years of experience and will be responsible for developing new clients and managing design services for new communities, parks and recreation, and commercial projects.

Timothy P. Durham

WilsonMiller Senior Vice President and Principal Timothy P. Durham, P.E., has assumed the role of corporate Environmental/Ecological Client Services Manager. He will advise corporate and regional leaders from WilsonMiller's 10 business units and help provide solutions to the environmental issues of complex, multidisciplinary projects.

Lawrence Hall

Mr. Lawrence Hall has recently been appointed to head up Crystal Fountain's new Dubai offices and will be the company’s managing development director. He brings 26 years of respected professional experience in architecture and landscape architecture. Lawrence Hall has lived in Dubai for more than three years and was formerly head of planning & landscape architecture for the prominent architectural firm of Khatib & Alami CEC, Dubai/Sharjah. Lawrence was also a professor of architecture and landscape architecture with the University of Nevada.

John Schieb
