Christine Pechner


Christine Pechner has joined ColeJenest & Stone, P.A. as a senior project landscape architect. She received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

Looney Ricks Kiss Architects announces the addition of David J. Flesher as a project manager in the firm's Celebration studio. With more than 20 years' experience in architecture and design, Flesher received his education in architecture from Syracuse University and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

TBG Partners, Texas' largest landscape architecture and planning firm, is providing site planning, sustainable design and landscape architectural services for the new 32-acre Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas. WilsonMiller, Inc., has added a new associate from Environmental Affairs Consultants, Inc. (EAC), a prominent Florida-based environmental consulting company WilsonMiller acquired recently. Nigel E. Morris, P.W.S., provides ecological and natural resource expertise for planning, permitting, and construction of agricultural, residential, commercial, industrial, and mitigation projects.

Woodlands Edge, one of west Little Rock's newest neighborhoods, has received the 2007 Award of Honor in Planning and Urban Design presented by the American Society of Landscape Architects Arkansas Chapter. The neighborhood received this honor for its excellence in sustainable site design, utilization of low impact development techniques and for its focus on preservation of the natural landscape.

Ron Maddox


CLC Associates, Inc., a national planning, entitlements, architecture, engineering, landscape architecture and land surveying firm, is pleased to announce that Ron Maddox has joined the firm as vice president, manager of the Phoenix office.

An LED lighting fixture that allows the end-user to "sculpt" unique lighting effects took top honors in Luraline's sixth annual "It's Your Light" student design competition. Architecture student Bryan Giroux of Philadelphia University received a $1,500 prize for his winning entry, "Flux."

Joe Sarabia

Sarabia has over 20 years of diverse planning, landscape architectural, civil engineering and environmental consulting experience. Sarabia earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Oklahoma State University.

Professor Stephanie A. Rolley, FASLA, AICP, has been recognized as the 2007-2008 KSU Landscape Architecture Teacher of the Year. Award nominations and selection were made by landscape architecture students, according to Professor Dan Donelin, head, Department of Landscape Architecture/Regional and Community Planning.

James M. Stevens, president of Taylor Wiseman & Taylor (TWT), a professional services firm with an expertise in the fields of civil engineering, land development, planning and surveying, environmental science and consulting, today announced a merger with Everland Shourds & Associates (ESA), a land planning and surveying, civil and environmental engineering and landscape architecture firm headquartered in Medford, NJ.

Lewis Scully Gionet, a Vienna, Va.-based planning and landscape architecture firm, has earned a Merit Award from the Pennsylvania/Delaware chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for the firm's design of The Peninsula on the Indian River Bay, a luxury waterfront resort/residential community in Millsboro, Del.
