The interior meditation garden was incorporated into the new patient care tower as a year-round place of respite for patients, visitors and staff. GMA worked with the design team to design the space as a Midwestern themed interior garden with a comfortable feel that provides a variety of gathering options for users. Replica birch trees and meadow grasses are faced with live plant material (Liriope) and set within curved stone and wood planters, offering an unexpected interior space within the high tech healthcare environment.
