National Hispanic Landscape Alliance Election Results
New Board Members Include Rafael Gonzalez Arnau and Wilmer Ventura



The NHLA, an organization for the professional development of Hispanic-American landscape industry workers, has announced the 2016-2017 Board of Directors.

The National Hispanic Landscape Alliance has announced new additions to its board of directors following recent elections.

Rafael Gonzalez Arnau of GALA Services, Inc., Escondido, Calif., and Wilmer Ventura of Yellowstone Landscape, Atlanta, were elected to the board of directors for the first time. Ivan Giraldo of Clean Scapes Landscaping, Austin, Texas, was elected to his second consecutive two-year term on the board.

Board secretary Jose Arroyo of Jose's Landscaping, Lyman, S.C., and board treasurer Domenic Chiarella, 7 of 7 Best Business & Life Strategies, Southbury, Conn., were re-elected to their positions.

The board of directors is as follows:

President-Elect: Pam Berrios, ALS Services, Inc., Alexandria, Va.
Immediate Past President: Raul Berrios, Rulyscapes, Inc., Centreville, Va.
Secretary: Jose Arroyo, Jose's Landscaping, Lyman, S.C.
Treasurer: Domenic Chiarella, 7 of 7 Best Business & Life Strategies, Southbury, Conn.

Ralph Egues of Cruz Fox, LLC, South Miami, Fla., will continue to serve as executive director.
