American Trails advances the development of diverse, high-quality trails and greenways for the benefit of people and communities.

The American Trails Advancing Trails Awards were announced at the 24th International Trails Symposium and Training Institute in New York.

The awards program recognizes the contributions and successes of people working to create an effective system of trails across the globe.

Among the 2019 awards winners are:
