B-K Lighting has agreed to acquire the operating assets of ABS Lighting, one of the oldest most reputable outdoor control beam and roadway lighting manufacturers. B-K Lighting is a market-leading architectural outdoor landscape lighting manufacturer with operations in Madera, Calif. The acquisition of ABS Lighting reinforces B-K Lighting's leading industry position of innovative architectural outdoor landscape lighting products.

John Deere Landscapes unveiled its new name and logo as SiteOne Landscape Supply, effective October 19. The new brand represents the next step for SiteOne as an independent company after its acquisition by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in December 2013. With over 460 locations in the U.S. and Canada, SiteOne is one of the largest wholesale distributors of landscape supplies for green industry professionals in North America.

Everris, Fuentes, Nu3, Novapeak and F&C have united to form one company: ICL Specialty Fertilizers. This is a global manufacturer of products based on specialty minerals that fulfill essential needs in ornamental horticulture (with brands including Osmocote, Peters and Universol) and turf and amenity (with brands including Sierraform and Proturf fertilizers and ProSelect grass seeds).

Franz Witte Landscape Contracting continues to grow with Idaho by signing on two new partners. Glade Burlingame and Danny Turner are now stockholders in the Landscape Construction, Maintenance and Nursery Company ensuring company longevity for generations. Burlingame has been with the company for 18 years as controller and vice president of administration. Turner has been instrumental over the last 7 years with Franz Witte acquiring and managing numerous commercial landscape design and build projects.

DeWalt, a leading manufacturer of industrial power tools, hand tools, and accessories, has expanded its initiative to make products in the USA. With this expansion, an additional 60 corded and cordless power tools are being made domestically with global materials. An expansion of production into an existing company-owned plant in Greenfield, Indiana brings the total number of plants in the United States to seven.

Groff Tractor & Equipment acquired Trico Equipment Services, the CASE Construction dealer with three locations in New Jersey. Groff Tractor's new territory includes three New Jersey facilities, which consist of Vineland, Totowa and Freehold.

Oldcastle(R) Architectural has acquired Anchor Block Company and Anchor Wall Systems. The producer of concrete masonry and hardscape products now has an increased presence in the high-growth region of the upper Midwest. The company maintains a strong patent portfolio from one of the most recognized and trusted brands in the segmental retaining wall industry. These brands join Belgard, Trenwyth, Bonsal American and others under Oldcastle Building Products.

JCB North America in Savannah, Ga. has been presented the 2015 Savannah Chamber of Commerce Environmental Awareness Award. The Environmental Awareness award honors a corporation that has demonstrated outstanding performance in its efforts to continuously improve environmental quality. JCB North America was nominated by several business partners due to the recent sustainability projects focusing on waste stream reduction and energy conservation.

Schiller Grounds Care, a manufacturer of BOB-CAT, Classen, Little Wonder, Mantis, Ryan and Steiner brand gardening, landscaping and grounds care equipment, has joined the SmartEquip Network. SmartEquip allows suppliers to provide customers with an ordering and content management platform, which connects business and customers to Schiller directly. Schiller joins a growing network of over 150 suppliers currently found on the SmartEquip Network business processing system.
