Fanning Howey's landscape architects created a verdant oasis within the urban landscape. A vegetative green roof supports the school's Montessori program, while also lowering energy costs. St. Vincent's Field and Jack R. Snyder Forum, Marian University, Indianapolis
Landscape architecture for the new athletic complex at Marian University in Indianapolis includes a central plaza that guides visitors into the stadium and serves as a focal point for outdoor student activities.

At Zionsville West Middle School in Zionsville, Ind., the landscape architects of Fanning Howey transformed a traditional retention pond in into an outdoor classroom for instruction in biology and other sciences.








Sports Fields and Playground Upgrades, Washington, D.C.
Completed over the course of three years, landscape architects of Fanning Howey upgraded the sports fields and playgrounds of more than 20 school campuses and community parks throughout Washington, D.C.








Riverside School, Fishers, Ind.
Landscape architecture for the new Intermediate and Junior High School connects the campus to the surrounding wetlands and nearby White River. Native plantings, walking trails and outdoor learning courtyards allow students to learn about nature first hand.
