Take TCIA's Accident Survey
Deadline April 15


The TCIA, a public and professional resource for trees and arboriculture, is asking for information on industry related accidents for their 2015 Accident Survey. The survey must be completed by April 15, 2016.

The Tree Care Industry Association is committed to combating the increasing number of accidents in the industry. In order to acquire information on tree care industry accidents, the TCIA has launched their annual Accident Survey.

The survey must be filled out by April 15. Access it by visiting and clicking on "Accident Survey" or "Safety" from the home page. Completion of the survey will help the association compile information on how to increase safety and awareness.

As thanks for filling out the survey, one respondent will be randomly selected to win up to $250 in safety training materials.

To stay updated on accidents within the industry, TCIA has created an Accident Database, accessible at Data is available back through 2009 and can be searched by accident severity, type, date, age of victim, and cause of injury. All accidents reported within the last thirty days are visible on this page, as well as a graph indicating the type of all accidents in the database (over 1,000) by percentage.
