ULI's Spring Meeting Will Draw Attention to Detroit
Urban Growth and Development Will be Highlighted

Detroit was chosen after Campus Martius Park was the first winner of ULI's Urban Space Award in 2010. The park had a positive impact on the rebuilding of downtown; it drew in businesses and provides a gathering place. ULI wants to highlight the positive impact urban renewal has had on Detroit at the 2018 Spring Meeting.

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has announced its 2018 Spring Meeting will be held in Detroit May 1-3 at the Cabo Convention Center.

The ULI has more than 40,000 members worldwide, and their Spring Meeting typically draws 3,000 of the most engaged members of the institute.

Focuses for the 2018 meeting include the reinvention of urban areas to draw in workers and businesses, which the Detroit metropolitan area has become a prime example of.

The Host Committee will be tasked with maximizing the visibility of Detroit real estate to attendees. Midtown Detroit has emerged as a symbol of new development and growth within the city, and the meeting aims to highlight the success following the difficulties the city faced.

Attendees can also look forward to networking opportunities, where opportunities will be show cased from around the world.

Registration for the meeting will open in February and is open to ULI members. Details and prices can be found HERE.
