2019 INASLA Accepting Entries for Design Award

The INASLA Annual Conference highlights projects and individuals that benefit and educate their communities as well as show ingenuity, creativity, and excellence in planning.

The Indiana Chapter of ASLA is accepting submissions for their 2019 Annual Conference on Landscape Architecture. The conference will take place on September 27 and announce the winners of the Professional Design Award, Student Design Award and Claire Bennett Legacy Award.

For the Professional Design Award, projects must include involvement by a landscape architect and completed within the last 5 years. Categories for this award are: Constructed Works, Constructed Residential, Unbuilt Works, Planning and Analysis, Communications, and Environmental Stewardship. Submissions for the Professional Design Award are due Friday, June 28.

Eligibility for the Student Design Award requires a student or student team currently enrolled in an accredited program of landscape architecture and all students involved must be current members of a sanctioned INASLA student chapter. The student design categories are Design Projects and Research/Planning. Submissions for the Student Design Award are due Friday, July 12.

The Claire Bennett Legacy Award recognizes excellence in administrative work in public agencies, direct service to the ASLA and/or profession, executed works of landscape architecture, and professional school instruction or professional writing. The award is named after Claire Bennett, who served as president of the INASLA and national president of the ASLA. INASLA is currently accepting nominations.
